News  /  In the picture: Chicabella

We would like to introduce one of our own bred dressage horses: Chicabella.

Dressage Stable Pais has three mares to breed with. In July 2007 Vicolina has given birth to a mare and we named her Chicabella as she is a ‘beautiful girl’.

Chicabella is under saddle now for almost a year. She is a really sensitive horse with an extremely good hind leg and a super front leg. A real future horse with an interesting breeding.

Her dam Vicolina is a black mare and got the KWPN ‘Ster predicate’.  Vicolina’s sire is Negro (by Ferro). Negro has competed at big tour level with Danish Anne van Olst and scored 72% in his Grand Prix début. Negro's offspring is widely appreciated for the great cooperative character, the work willingness and of course the great hind leg.

Chicabella’s sire almost doesn’t need any further introduction: Jazz, one of the most important Dutch KWPN breeding stallions. He has competed at international Grand Prix level with Dutch riders Tineke Bartels and Kirsten Beckers.

Anneke about Chicabella: ‘She is a pleasure to ride, so easy and light. She has so much balance and she is a very honest horse that wants to work for you every day.’
