Since last week Evelyn Pauwels is back at Dressage Stable Pais. The 26 year old Belgian Evelyn was already an employee at the barn for 2,5 years and after a break she now is back as a groom.

 

Evelyn was already into horses as a little girl. Motivated by her older sister who got a horse, she had her pony. She still has this pony but rides a horse now as well. Evelyn just started doing competitions at regional level in Belgium.

 

When we asked her what is the nicest part from being a groom she answers: ‘at the end of the day I go home tired but happy. It gives me a good feeling knowing the horses have been out of their stalls at least twice and they all have a clean stall again. Besides this I really like to take care of horses.’
