Recently the first qualifier for the Belgian Young horses has taken place in Zandhoven. Two horses of Dressage Stable Pais were shown at this selection for the world championships for five and six year olds in Verden (Germany) later this year.
Dolores v/d Kwikaard, a five year old mare by Zucherro x Royal Diamond was shown by Eva Cornelis, one of the students of Serge and Anneke. Eva: ‘it was a nice show and my horse did a super job! She was a bit tensed during the warming up but after a while she was relaxed. The test went really well. I never had such a great feeling as in this test! Dolores was very focussed on me. We had a small miscommunication in the counter canter but the rest was super. The judges comments were very positive and we finished seventh out of 33 competitors. The score was 76,5%’
The second DSP horse was Double Dutch, a five year old gelding by Jazz. Double Dutch was competed by Nick van Laer. For Double it was his first official show and you can see he is very green but he did a good job and scored over 65%.
