Last weekend Serge's Belgian student Els van der Veken has competed at a national show in Jeneffe, Luik. Els showed two horses: Wonderboy and five year old Carbana Girl. For Els and Wonderboy it was their Grand Prix début and the scored over 62%!
Els: 'Wonderboy did a super job and I am really proud of him. The piaffe and passage tour can be more spectacular but for the changes, zig-zag and extended trot I got sevens and eights! Carbana Girl behaved very well. I competed her in the class for young horses. The trot was very good, the walk was good and the canter can be a bit more collected. Her next show is on Saturday.'
